Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Examevo website and application. By creating an account or using Examevo you accept these Terms.

If you use Examevo on behalf of a school, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

The service

Examevo provides practice papers, AI-assisted marking, feedback, syllabus tools, and related educational features for UK and international qualifications.

We may update features, qualification coverage, and availability. Beta features are provided "as is" and may change without notice.

Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old or have school/parent consent as required in your jurisdiction.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, offensive, or third-party copyrighted content without permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform.
• Share account access or resell marking credits without authorisation.
• Misrepresent AI-generated feedback as official exam board marking.

Marking disclaimer

Examevo marking is designed to align with published mark schemes and examiner conventions. It is not official marking by AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, Cambridge, SQA, IB, or any awarding body.

Grades and feedback are indicative. Always follow your teacher and official board guidance for exam preparation. We do not guarantee a particular exam result.

You should verify critical marks with a qualified teacher before relying on them for high-stakes decisions.

Content & intellectual property

Examevo model papers and platform content are owned by Examevo or licensed to us. Official past papers remain the property of their respective awarding bodies.

You retain ownership of scripts you upload. You grant Examevo a licence to process uploads solely to provide the service.

Subscriptions & free tier

Paid plans renew according to the billing cycle shown at checkout unless cancelled. Refunds are handled per our refund policy communicated at purchase.

Free allowances (e.g. first paper free) may change. We will not charge without your explicit payment authorisation.

School accounts

Teachers may create classes and invite students via join codes or email. Schools are responsible for pupil data protection compliance in their use of class tools.

School dashboards provide analytics derived from student submissions enrolled in that class.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Examevo is not liable for indirect, consequential, or exam-outcome losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Examevo in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose security risk. Provisions that should survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, liability limits) will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
